LeBron James Drops 39 Pts. In a Losing Effort against the Bucks

NBA – The Cleveland Cavaliers visit the Milwaukee Bucks for the last time at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee. It is the 3rd time that these two teams are facing one another out of the four scheduled meetings these 2017 – 2018 NBA Season. The Cavaliers have a commanding 2 – 0 lead in their season match against the Bucks after winning the first 2 games one in October at The BMO Harris Bradley Center and the other one in November at Quickens Loans Arena.


In the game, the visiting team (Cavs) takes an early double digit of 11 points but the home team (Bucks) has rallied back to cut the lead to just 4 points to end the 1st quarter 34 – 30 Cavs leading by 4 points.

In the 2nd quarter the Bucks continue their assault on the Cavs second unit hitting some series of 3’s to overcome the Cavaliers lead and end the quarter leading by 11 points. A 22 point turn around 69 – 58 Bucks with 11 points.

In the 3rd quarter, the home team is still the aggressive team after carrying their momentum in the 2nd quarter, outscoring the visiting team 29 -25 to end the 3rd quarter leading by 15 points 98 – 83, Bucks with 15 points.

In the 4th quarter, where everyone thinks that the home team will walk away from the game in a blown out fashion after posting the biggest lead of the game by 20 points, but the Cavs second unit has a thing in their mind who came strong and show an impressive scoring and defensive stand in the final quarter leading by Jeff Green and Dwyane Wade, where they slowly chops the Bucks lead until the Cavs manage to regain the lead 107 - 105 after a made 3’s by Dwyane Wade with 5:11 to go in the final quarter.

LeBron was re-inserted in the game after the Bucks regain the lead 107 – 108 with under 4 minutes to go in the quarter, James quickly made some clutch 3’s and 3 point play to regain the lead for the Cavs, but unable to seal the game due to some missed 3’s by James and Kyle Korver and eventually Giannis Antetokounmpo made a clutch 3 point play that sealed the win for the Milwaukee Bucks.

LeBron James, finish the game with game high 39 points, 1 rebound, 7 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks in a losing effort while Bucks franchise player Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 27 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assist.
