LeBron James the Youngest Player to Reach the 35,000 Career Points

NBA – On February 19, 2021 (Philippine Time) Lakers Superstar LeBron James becomes the youngest player to reach the 35, 000 career points, making him the third player in the league history to ever do it.

LeBron James reached the said milestone by a made free throw in the second quarter of their game against the visiting Brooklyn Nets at Staple Center in Los Angeles, California.


LeBron finished the game with 32 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assist to lead all scorers in the game. Unfortunately for James the milestone came in a losing effort as their loss to the Brooklyn Nets 98 – 109.

Meanwhile, LeBron James joins fellow Lakers and NBA Hall of Famer Karl Malone a 2 – Time NBA MVP and Kareem Abdul Jabbar a 6 – Time NBA MVP and 6 – Time NBA Champion as the only three NBA players to reach the 35.000 career points.

Karl Malone currently holds the 2nd most career points in the league with 36,928 points and Kareem Abdul Jabbar at number one with the most points in the league with 38,387 career points while LeBron James in 3rd all time with 35,017 career points as of now.

Rounding the top 5 in the list of NBA All – Time Scoring List are at 4th Kobe Bryant with 33,643 career points and Michael Jordan at 5th with 32, 292 career points.

LeBron James is also one of the two NBA Players that remains active in the game of basketball aside from Carmelo Anthony, who is at 11th placed with 26,806 career points in the Top 25 of NBA All – Time Scoring List.

LeBron James is expected to surpass Kareem Abdul Jabbar in the NBA Scoring List if he remains healthy and continue to average 25 points per game in the next 3 or 4 years? A legacy that will surely be tough to beat in the next decade or two?
