The LA Lakers and the LA Clippers square off at Crypto.com Arena

NBA – The Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers square off for their second meeting of the 2021–2022 NBA Regular Season at Crypto.com Arena formerly known as Staple Center in Los Angeles, California.

The Clippers will host the Lakers at home, but the majority of fans will surely cheer behind the Lakers as both teams shared the same arena for decades. The Clippers already beat the Lakers in their first meeting in a come from behind win 119–115.


Prior to the game the LA Clippers lost their last game to Indiana Pacers that drops them to 8th spot of the Western Conference Standings with 26 wins and 27 losses.

While the LA Lakers won their last game against the Portland Trail Blazers improving their standings to 25 wins and 27 losses at 9th placed in the West Standing as well.

The winner between the Lakers and the Clippers will grab the 8th seed in the West while the losers dropped to 9th seed in the West. If the Clippers win, they remain at the 8th seed and if the Lakers loss they remain in the 9th seed.

Both teams will miss their All – Star players and key players prior to their game, The Clippers will be missing their All – Stars players Kawhi Leonard with a knee injury and Paul George with an elbow injury.

The Lakers will also miss their 18th All-Star and 4-Time MVP LeBron James for the 5th consecutive games due to left knee swelling and Kendrick Nunn who haven’t played this season.

Both teams are having a disappointing season due to several injuries to their players, although the seasons are not yet over and several games are yet to play they might turn the table and get back into winning ways and grab a much better seed in the West to avoid the Play-in Tournament.
