Netizen’s Feud over 2016 Elections and VP Race Current Result on Social Media

The 2016 Elections are almost done in counting votes but many netizens keep exchanging their opinions on the overall results and integrity of the 2016 Elections.

Social Media became the voice of many Filipino where they can express their selves, opinion and even doubt on the current results of the Election.

The Presidential Race are in no doubt that the incoming 16th President of the Philippines Mayor Rodrigo Duterte is the landslide winner for the highest position in the country.

But the VP race and Senatorial race are having questionable votes and doubt? Some netizens say that there are some cheating happen particularly in the Vice Presidential race?

Base on reports, Smartmatic an electronic voting company who is responsible for the 2016 Elections are in question of violating the protocol of the elections after changing a hash code on the evening of May 9 at 7:30pm.

The actions made by Smartmatic, questions the integrity of the elections that might lead to alleged cheating particularly in the VP race, where at the time of changing hash codes VP candidate Sen. Bongbong Marcos is at #1 position leading of less than 1 million votes to #2 position at that time Rep. Leni Robredo of Liberal Party.

Slowly the lead of Sen. Marcos to Leni Robredo, begins to drop till Robredo overtake Marcos and take the lead at 3:30 am of May 10. All that happen after the Smartmatic change the Hash code base on observation of some IT experts and netizens.

The Comelec says that Smartmatic, violated the protocols after not informing them of their actions? But Smartmatic says the other way around?

Until now, the VP Race are still in tight race, but Leni Robredo maintain her lead of more than 200,000 votes against Sen. Marcos.

Marcos already said that they currently investigate all the possibility that there might be some alleged cheating happen? They awaits the explanation of the Comelec and Smartmatic on the sudden change of Hash Code on the eve of May 9, where he currently leading and pulling away from other VP candidates.

Paolo Ballesteros Facing Disciplinary Action over Facebook Rant By Eat Bulaga!

Actor and TV host Paolo Ballesteros, has not been spotted lately in the longest-running noontime show “Eat Bulaga” in their popular segment called “KalyeSerye” since March 11, 2016.

Netizens, are confused especially avid fans of “KalyeSerye”  wondering why the character of Paolo as “Lola Ni Tidora” part of the Threesome Lola’s of KalyeSerye!, has been missing in the last few days now on “kalyeSerye” segment?

Rumors circulated in social media that the said actor has been given a disciplinary action after the later posted some Facebook rant against the production staff who he think did not take care of him?

According to reports, Paolo is attending an event in Subic on March 10, the event was Ad Philippines Summit 2016, where Paulo, should be the host of that event but everything turn wrong after the actor felt miss take care off as no one else in the venue assisted them after arriving in a hotel.

Paolo felt miss treated and begin posting series of complain on Facebook, reaching out on one of the staff of the production event particularly “Liza Marcelo Lazatin”.

After not receiving any reply over Facebook and Txt, Paolo, reached his patience and decided to have some drink in his hotel room and posted not to disturb him anymore.

Since then, the actor-TV host, has not yet been spotted in any event and nor giving any comment on the alleged suspension given to him by the Eat Bulaga or Kapuso Network.

China’s Air Missile Are in Position in One of Disputed Island in South China Sea

Philippines – As the conflict of interest in disputed island arises with some neighboring country, the aggressive China has already deployed and position their surface to air missile in Woody Island, one of many disputed island that China occupied in South China Sea.

The news already reached President Benigno “Noy”Aquino lll, who is currently in Sunnylands, California, attending a meeting about stopping the militarization of China in the region of disputed islands.

The meeting was attended by ten leaders of Association of Southeast Asian Nations or ASEAN and US President Barrack Obama.

President Aquino, has already ask the Philippine Secretary of National Defense to verify the validity of the report.

The news was first broke in Taiwan, when Major Gen. David Lo, spokesman for the Taiwan Defense Ministry, revealed that several batteries of missiles and radar systems are placed on Woody Island, part of the Paracels chain. In which the said island is also been claiming by the country of Taiwan and Vietnam.

According to an official report of the US Department of Defense, the tensions heightened in the area of disputed island after seeing a photo of allegedly taken by a private company ImageSat International, seeing  two batteries of eight missile launchers and radar systems on Woody Island.

Based on the image, the HQ - 9 air defense systems, with a range of up to 125 miles or 200 kilometers might be a possible threat to international plane that passing through the area.

Pres. Aquino Denied the P2k Increase in SSS Pensioner

Philippines – President Noy Aquino, denied the P 2,000 across- the- board Social Security System (SSS) pension hike yesterday January 14, 2015.

Report said that the reason of disapproval of President Aquino, is that the SSS funds and projected collections cannot afford the said SSS pension hike. Which there is a risk that SSS might be bankrupt 13 years from now if he will sign the house bill. And perhaps future pensioner 13 years from now will not have the privilege of having their own pensions which may affect more SSS pensioner.

Rather than sign the House Bill No.5842, President Aquino used his power to deny the House Bill No. 5842 proposal.

Presidential Communications Operations Office (ESG) Sec. Herminio "Sonny" Coloma Jr., explain that the President weighed the benefit of the 31 million members interests than two million pensioners now a state fund.

 For now, Malacañang's left the House and Senate if they will override the President decision? To become law the House Bill No.5842.

Bayan Muna Rep. Neri Colmenares, called on both congressmen and senators to unite to revoke the veto of President Aquino.

In an interview yesterday, former SSS president Corazon de la Paz, said that any measures of raising the pension must correspond to additional contributions from active members to not lame or distort the life of the SSS fund.
