LBJ Moves On The # 10 Spot of NBA All-Time Scoring List

NBA - Cleveland Cavaliers superstar, 4 time regular season MVP and 3 time NBA Champion LeBron James once again made another milestone of his career as he surpass Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon in NBA All-Time Scoring List.

On November 5, 2016, LeBron James surpass Hakeem Olajuwon and take the # 10 spot in NBA All-Time Scoring List during the early quarter of Cleveland Cavaliers vs Philadelphia Sixer’s game.


James finished the game with 25 points as he improve his all-time career points to 26,970. Hakeem Olajuwon moves down to # 11 spot with 26,946 career points.

The next player to chase by the King are at N0. 9 spot Elvin Hayes with 27,313 career points, N0. 8 Moses Malone with 27,409 career points and possibly surpassed the most dominate big men in NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal who is in N0.7 with 28,596 career points if LBJ continues to average 20-25 points per games by the end of this season?

Currently the top 10 All-time Scoring list has 8 inactive or retired players and 2 active players aside from LBJ, Dirk Nowitzki are the remaining active players on the list. Nowitzki hold the # 6 spot with 29,527 career points. kareem Abdul Jabbar holds the # 1 spot followed by Karl Malone, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain rounding the top 5 of the list.

James at age 31 is the youngest player ever to reach that spot and he continue to break every milestone especially in NBA Scoring List. Aside from being list in NBA Scoring List, James is also listed in the 25 NBA All-Time Assist, one of only two player in NBA History to be listed in that category together with the Big “O” Oscar Robertson.

JR Smith and the Cavaliers Reunites for a Four Year Contract

The long wait is finally over as the standoff between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the sharp shooting guard JR Smith finally ended after both parties agreed on a contract that Smith gamble during this 2016 free agency.


The source said that the Smith and the Cavs finally agreed on a contract that both parties made happy, Cavs give Smith a four year deal worth $57 million, where Smith is guaranteed of three straight seasons while his fourth year is non-guaranteed.



It is remembered that at the start of this 2016 NBA Free Agency Smith opted out his contact with the Cavs after a successful season of helping the team of winning the 2015-2016 NBA Champion. This time the gamble of Smith paid off after failing last year free agency where he opted out and failed and received lesser money that he already receiving.

Cavalier’s management decided to give what Smith is asking for his salary, this time they value Smith in bringing him back with the team reuniting their championship caliber starting five with Kyrie Irving, Tristan Thompson, Kevin Love and LeBron James.

Now that Smith is back and the team is whole again, the Cavalier’s chance of getting in the finals is more likely in a good direction. The team is still the best team in the Eastern Conference and the heavily favored of getting back in the NBA Finals alongside with the Western Conference counterpart Golden State Warriors.

JR Smith is a former six man of the year that he won during his tenure with the New York Knicks, he almost lost a contract with the Cavaliers after opting out during the 2015 free agency after losing the NBA Finals with the Warriors.

Just like his teammate Tristan Thompson, Smith has the same similar situation where both player standoff their demand of earning much more salary that they ask for and successfully given after a long term of negotiation.

Pres. Duterte and Sen. Leila de Lima verbal Fight continues…

Philippines – Everyone knows that President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Leila de Lima hate each other whether politically or personally.


It all began in Davao, when the president is still a mayor and being accused as the leader of the Davao Death Squad (DDS) by then justice secretary de Lima but the Secretary failed to prove her allegation against the mayor.



Now, the mayor then become the President of the Philippines and the justice secretary become a senator and yet still they continue up to this day their left and right accusation and allegation.

On present day Sen. De Lima accused Duterte’s administration of Extra Judicial Killings (EJK) against drug relation incident, the senator later investigates the killings in a Senate Committee for Justice, which she later ousted as chairman of the committee after accusing of being biased in the investigation by Sen. Cayetano.

Sen. de Lima is also under investigation of having alleged transaction with drug lords inside the penitentiary of New Bilibid Prison and receiving drug money from them where she later used for political bid.

The current Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre ll presented witnesses in the House Committee that will prove the involvement of then justice secretary de Lima in her linkages in drugs especially inside the penitentiary.

Meanwhile, Pres. Duterte who verbally spoken on public that she will destroy de Lima publicly is holding on what his words. He later on revealed on public that sen. de Lima’s has an alleged involvement in drugs especially in the Bilibid prison and receiving money from different inmates in the penitentiary? she was also accused of having an intimate relationship with her driver bodyguard and later on the president reveal that several scandal of the senator is will be reveal?

While Sen. de Lima, is asking the president to stop attacking her and ask through media on why he is doing this to her? de Lima jokingly say is that the president has a crush on her?

Pres. Duterete and Sen. De Lima’s continues verbal fight already destroying the image of the country, whether who is telling the truth, it seems both are getting a negative impression of the country? Let’s hope that this end already? so that the country can focus on much more important things that this.

Marcos Burial, Will It Happen on Sept. 18?

September 18, 2016 is the date where the former President Ferdinand E. Marcos is set to finally be buried in the heroes Cemetery (Libingan ng mga Bayani).


Family and friends of the late president waited this important date for so many years to happen and one decision away to finally reach their dream to rest and lay the body of the late president Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.



It is remembered that President Rodrigo Duterte, already announce in public that he will allow the late president to be buried in the Heroes Cemetery not as a former president but as a soldier who fought and fight for the country during World War ll and that is one valid criteria to allow the late Marcos to be buried at the Heroes Cemetery.

Although Pres. Duterte, already give his blessings on Marcos burial, but it seems that the Supreme Court has the last decision if they will or not allowed the Marcos Burial?

For now, the fate of Marcos burial is in the hands of the Supreme Court. The higher court has already ordered a Status Quo on Marcos Burial, in which there will be no activities or preparation to happen in the next 20 days.

The court is currently investigating all oral argument filed by petitioners of anti-Marcos where they fights their rights on all human rights violation during the Martial Law era.

Many people young and old here in the Philippines already express their different opinion about these Marcos burial some say let the former president be buried in heroes cemetery and let’s move on just like what Pres. Duterte said. But others seems hardly forget the past and cannot forgive what the late Marcos done for them?

PH Driver’s License Validity is now extending from 3 years to 5 years

On June 25, 2016 President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, mentioned on his first State of the Nation Address (SONA) that he will amend the current law about the current validity of driver’s license in the country.

The president wants a new law to be implemented that all driver’s license holder must have a 5 years consecutive validity driver’s license reckoned from the date of their birth amending the previous 3 years validity only.


The new law is to extend the usual 3 years driver’s renewals, it will also reduce the hassle of every licensee holder by prolonging its validity. While student driver and new licensee are not included in the new bill.

Land Transportation Office (LTO), release a statement that this coming October, there is a big possibility that they will start implementing the new law by prolonging the validity of driver’s license for 5 consecutive years.

However, LTO chief Assistant Sec. Edgar Galvante clarifies that the National Capital Region (NCR) are the first priorities of implementing the extended validity of driver's license and then it will sooner implemented in other regions of the country.

Meanwhile, Senate Minority Leader Ralph Recto, who also proposed to amend the Republic Act 4136 or Land Transportation and Traffic Code, was also proposing a 6 years moratorium or no price increase for all government documents such as passports, driver's licenses, permits and others.

Aside from prolonging the validity of driver’s license into 5 years, the Philippine passport was also included to amend Republic Act 8239 or Philippine Passport Act of 1996, it was also mentioned by the president during his SONA.

As of now there is no definite report that the new law is already implemented? But if implemented it will extend the validity of PH passport up to 10 consecutive years instead of 5 years.
