PBA Trivia - Alvin Patrimonio




Alvin Patrimonio who’s real name is Alvin Vergara Patrimonio. Born on November  17, 1966.
Patrimonio is a retired basketball player  from The Philippine basketball Association (PBA).
He used to play from the franchise team Purefoods Tj Hotdogs and he is the current team manager  of the recently grandslam team san mig supper coffee mixer.


Patrimonio’s nicknamed known as “the Captai” and “Captain Lionheart”.
Patrimonio hold’s the most number of season MVP in the PBA. Tying with 4MVP with the “El Presidente” Ramon Fernadez.
Patrimonio enter the PBA  in 1988, with fellow teamate superstar, Jojo Lastimosa and Jerry Codinera.
Patrimonio did not won the rookie of the year, his teamate Jojo lastimosa won it.

In 1991, Patrimonio signe a multi milliom contract with Purefoods a 5 year contract worth 25 million Pesos, this is the the start of an era of multi million PBA player.

I his Prime Patrimonio is the most dominat power poward in the PBA. When he has the ball at the low post automatically he will double tean by the opposite team.
